Antenatal Care
Pregnancy. A time of growth and change. We are delighted to walk this journey with you from a very early stage in your pregnancy. Regular appointments will strengthen you and help you to find your own way. Care depends and varies on your needs and choices for your primary care. Milestone Midwifery can offer primary maternity care or shared care with a GP of your choice.
Infant Feeding
Discussions around infant feeding will be part of your antenatal care but can also start when your baby is born. Support and advise is especially important for breastfeeding mums. Milestone Midwifery will fully support any choice of infant feeding you make.
Postpartum Care
Returning home following your baby’s arrival comes with many emotions. We can offer you support during the first 40 days of adjusting to all changes that come with having a newborn. Home visits are flexible depending on your needs. We give advice regarding feeding and newborn care and look after your wellbeing. Postnatal care is a service that is available until your baby is 6 weeks old.

Milestone Midwifery
Milestone Midwifery have a Medicare provider number, to enable you to claim Medicare rebates for antenatal and postnatal appointments.
Private health funds, may also attract rebates, depending on your cover – Please check with your health fund.
Charges may apply for travel fees if the home visit is further than 20km from Gungahlin
